Safe Lists & Text Ads
These are free. Most of them have upgrade options. Posting your ad to safelists does work, but you need to do it consistently to get good results. **NOTE** When you join a safelist, you agree to receive email ads from other members of that list. So be prepared to get tons of emails in your inbox. Most free email accounts give you 4-10 MB of space which fills up really fast, plus most of them 'bounce' a lot, which will get your accounts deleted! A GREAT FREE way to advertise your work at home business:
Make some flyers up that say something about your business and either give your website or an autoresponder email address where they can get more information. You can put these little flyers on public bulletin boards, leave with your tip at restaurants, include with bills you pay (some people even tape them on the inside door of bathroom stalls in public washrooms and on ATM machines!) You can probably think of some other great places to put them!
The only cost for this is the copying (if you don't have your own copier) and the colored paper to make copies with. I recommend bright but not dark colors. I use lime green, gold and orange. You want people to be able to read what your flyer says without straining their eyes!
